The Opposition New Zealand Trade Alliance is accusing the Government of dragging its feet on the Child Welfare Standards, with the Minister for Children,바카라사이트 Development and Youth, Jane Parry, declaring “we won’t comment on matters of policy, however we will condemn this conduct in the strongest terms possible”.
It is the first time it has taken a public statement to address an issue in this way.
Opposition Labour Party leader Andrew Little has previously called for an urgent review of the policy.

“The government has ignored every single recommendation of the Child Welfare Standards Board in the last year but continues to delay and evade a major overhaul of the system.
“This has led to an over-dramatic response from some in the media and an outpouring of opposition from our own members of Parliament, our community representatives, businesses and unions, who call for a national review of child welfare issues. This is unacceptable.”
In March the Government released a draft of a child welfare policy which included changes in how the children are picked up and dropped off by the child welfare community.
